June is Safety & Wellness Month at Martin Brower

Each June, Martin Brower celebrates Safety & Wellness month, where we reinforce safe practices and behaviors and reaffirm our commitment to safety.

From staying vigilant and keeping the aisles clear, to ensuring road safety in all weather conditions or simply getting more sleep, these everyday decisions not only safeguard our team members but create a safer environment for all those around us.

As a company, we are responsible for keeping over 13,500 team members safe. It’s a responsibility we don’t take lightly, and we are always looking to improve. That’s why our company-wide safety program targets the only goal that matters – zero. 

Thanks to this mindset and the actions that support it, we continue to see significant improvements in our safety record.

Here’s a look at our 2023 progress:

• 14 distribution centers had zero injuries

• 17% reduction in recordable injuries

• 55% DCs improved their safety record year-on-year
