At Martin Brower, we are committed to driving forward our net zero goals. We are making meaningful progress by fostering resilience within our distribution centers, including purchasing renewable electricity that covers our DCs.
In 2022, we led an effort, together with McDonald’s and the North American Logistics Council, to purchase solar power to cover the electricity usage for 100% of our United States distribution centers. A key component was to leverage partnerships across the system to drive a bigger impact than any of us could do on our own. The partners recently came to see the completed project and shared their thoughts on the efforts.
