In 2025, Martin Brower Australia opened the Brisbane North Distribution Center (DC), reinforcing our commitment to building a resilient and sustainable supply chain to serve customers across Queensland. Strategically located in the Brisbane Airport Precinct, the DC supports more than 125 restaurants from Southbank Brisbane to Cairns, managing an average of 92,000 cases per week and approximately 4.4 million cases annually.
The Brisbane North DC employs nearly 50 team members and oversees delivery routes ranging from 2 miles (3.2 km) to more than 1,054 miles (1,696 km). This expansive reach ensures reliable and timely service across a broad geographic area, strengthening supply chain continuity for customers throughout the region.
Sustainability is central to the facility’s design and operations. As a 5 Green Star As-Built certified facility, the DC features a 625 kW rooftop solar system, rainwater capture and recycling systems, and is expected to operate on 100% renewable electricity by the end of this year. These initiatives demonstrate Martin Brower Australia’s ongoing commitment to reducing environmental impact while maintaining operational excellence.
Beyond its operational capabilities, the Brisbane North DC offers a safe, modern, and collaborative work environment that prioritizes employee well-being. The Brisbane North DC is part of Martin Brower Australia’s network of seven distribution centers, which employ more than 600 people and serve over 1,000 restaurants nationwide. This DC plays a vital role in supporting the company’s long-term growth and supply chain capabilities.
This investment reflects Martin Brower Australia’s continued focus on innovation, efficiency, and sustainability as it builds for the future.
The MB Brisbane North DC reflects our commitment to investing in innovation and sustainability. The entire site, from its smart layout to its precision-controlled chilled and frozen chambers, ensures we’re equipped to meet the demands of Queensland’s fast-paced, dynamic market with confidence and accuracy.
